THINKING ABOUT SELLING YOUR CATALOGUE?
I help songwriters, producers and rights holders evaluate their catalogues, understand the market and, when the timing is right, find the right buyer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.
SHOULD YOU SELL?
A catalogue generates income over time, but those future revenues aren't guaranteed. Selling can turn years of future income into a significant amount of cash today. It's money you can invest, use for something else, or simply have certainty around. Timing matters too. A catalogue made up of songs that have been generating consistent income for years can behave very differently from a younger catalogue that still has a lot of its story ahead of it. Sometimes selling everything makes sense. Sometimes selling part of a catalogue makes more sense. And sometimes, the answer is to wait.
EVERGREEN vs. LONG TAIL
Evergreen songs keep generating consistent income for years, often 5+ years after release. Long-tail songs continue to generate income, but usually decline much faster over time. The more evergreen songs a catalogue has, the more stable its value tends to be.
EVALUATION
The evaluation gives you a realistic ballpark of what a buyer could potentially pay for your catalogue today. The final price can move up or down depending on the catalogue, the buyer and the market. Think of it like selling a house. The evaluation gives you a strong idea of the value, but the market ultimately decides the price.
HOW I VALUE A CATALOGUE?
A catalogue isn't valued by simply taking its yearly income and multiplying it by a number. I look at the songs individually, the type and stability of their income, ownership percentages, age, and how that income has performed over time. The goal is to understand what the catalogue could realistically be worth in today's market.
HOW I HELP?
I start by evaluating the catalogue and helping you understand what is driving its value. From there, I can help you prepare for the market, identify the right buyers, manage the process and negotiate the deal. My job is to be on the seller's side and help you get the best outcome possible.
BUYERS
I work with both industry and private buyers looking for music catalogues. Some opportunities come directly through my network, while others come through relationships with other brokers. I'm always interested in building relationships with serious buyers so I can connect the right catalogue with the right buyer when the opportunity comes up.
